Pretty! I am doing black too and was wondering if I could add a bit of white. This looks so very pretty!
ReplyDeletePS: Do take another pic on a different background? the last one...the necklace is lost on the print on the mannequin.
That last pic was kind of an overkill joke. The whole thing is shown here! Plus, I've already given it away :)
DeleteOh Heidi - this is so pefect!! Love it, Love it, Love it! And, the mannequin is so cool - gotta love that, too. What a score that is! I'm sure your friend loved her necklace - who wouldn't!
ReplyDeletePERFECT, Heidi!!! The necklace just demands attention!! It says look at how beautiful I am!!! You nailed the challenge! Such a showstopper! Your hair stylist is one lucky girl!!
ReplyDeleteHeidi, I'm so glad you participate in the hop!
I'm a sucker for the black/white color combination, and always will be. Your necklace is just gorgeous with all the lovely, unique beads. I know your friend will love it.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Heidi, -striking and very elegant.
ReplyDeleteJust stunning! Love the color black and love the way you added white to the mix! Gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat use of contrasting values! Such a wonderful sense of energy in the piece. I bet your hairdresser was absolutely thrilled and delighted to receive it!
ReplyDeleteI love this! I have one of those pendants (in a different color) so it's interesting to see what someone else has done with it. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love the beads you chose to accent that gorgeous focal. My hairdresser would be jealous!!
ReplyDeleteThat is just beautiful. I love all the beads you chose and the focal is gorgeous. (I love Nancy's work). Your hairdresser will *love* it.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful necklace. I like the different shades you have included in it, gives it different layers of texture and color. Great job!
ReplyDeleteHi Heidi,
ReplyDeleteLove your necklace it is beautiful! Your hairdresser friend did good with the pendant it is very pretty.
Therese
Nancy's pendant really shines in this piece! This is a gorgeous necklace!
ReplyDeleteJust had to come see what you did with black, and, well,....WOW! What a gorgeous necklace!!!
ReplyDeleteI've got that 'lighter shade of pale' song going on in my head ... this might be the other side of black, but wow. I'm loving it. Truth be told, green might be my favorite color, but black is what I wear. this is spectacular - I think the black gang might have my vote!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I know that your hairdresser will love it. Or does she already have it? I have this pendant in turquoise and red, but I have decided not to create jewellery with it - I'm going to hang it on my wall, it is so big and absolutely stunning! That Nancy....
ReplyDeleteHeidi - What a lovely necklace! I love the black/white combo, it is one of my favorites for work. I would definitely wear this with pride.
ReplyDeleteI also love black and white together. That came out great.
ReplyDeleteYes! I love this. Your use of fabric and wire makes me want to try! I love the black and white combo, this will go with EVERYTHING!
ReplyDeleteLovely necklace, Heidi - it is happy and fun (something I wouldn't have expected from black, a serious shade :))
ReplyDeleteWonderful necklace Heidi with a stunning pendant. What a great and cheerful use of black. Love it.
ReplyDeleteStunning pendant and I love your necklace design, it would so go with my wardrobe and style!
ReplyDeleteLucky stylist! What a pretty necklace you created - who said black is boring?!?
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely pendant and the perfect necklace for it. The beads you have chosen for the necklace complement the pendant so nicely. Your hairdresser will love it.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! Love the pendant!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty - gorgeous beads you made!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I was hoping someone would choose black. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun challenge -- I'm kicking myself in the behind for not signing up.
That is a spectacular pendant and what you did to show it off is..... extraordinaire! Very well done!
ReplyDeleteAwesome necklace!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful necklace!
ReplyDeleteI love the black and white combo.... you are spot on with your design. I love the pendant and all the beads in the necklace compliment it nicely. Gorgeous job Heidi!
ReplyDelete{Hugs!}
Let me apologize for taking so long to get here. . .whew! SORRY!
ReplyDeleteNow, your necklace is fantastic! I would have been stumped with just using black, but you really showed how it's done! I shouldn't be surprised at all. You always make such cool pieces anyway. I bet your hairdresser LOVED it!
Wow! Great start with a stunning pendant. Your necklace is a perfect companion to that focal. Nice contrast.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great necklace! I am sure your stylistic will love it.
